"History never looked so good..." |

Second time Fringe Festival writer/performer Jorge Tsipos (A + B = ?, 2010) investigates the cyclical nature of revolution:
From France to Russia, from then till now and everything in-between.
This unique one-man show celebrates the follies and foibles of the 'greatest' governments in history.

Strengths & Weaknesses
“What separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate.”- Donald Trump
After a successful run at the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival with
the original piece A + B=? , collaborators Adam Direen and Jorge Tsipos
are back with another exciting, two man show.
Strengths & Weaknesses tells the story between two candidates waiting for an interview for a mysterious job opportunity.
Who are these men? Why do they so desperately want the position? And what will they do to get it?
Devised
by Adam and Jorge who are both in their final year at Monash
University, the initial starting point for the project spurred from the
ever approaching reality of graduating and facing the difficulties of
making a living outside the safety net of tertiary education.
Two
parts hilarious, one part truth, but mostly consisting of blatant lies,
the audience will find that the two candidates frame a world that is
utterly impenetrable yet that we all long to be a part of. An absurd
venture into the world of big business, theatre and the unknown, this
piece promises to resonate with anyone who has ever applied for a job.
Performing at The Space Dance & Arts Centre's Red Room, this short season WILL sell out!
Performances dates in 2011:
Thursday 20th October 8:00pm
Friday 21st October 8:00pm
Saturday 22nd October 8:00pm
